Each animal is led around by a friendly and knowledgeable handler who is there not only to ensure the comfort and safety of our animals, but to support you and your guests.

Our Services Include:
A well groomed, regal server: Each animal is cleaned, groomed, and beautifully decorated.
Transportation: We transport animals to and from your venue.
Prompt Service: We pride ourselves on being on time. We include a 30 minute preparation window to dress the animals and fill their serving baskets.
Time: A one hour cocktail service or meet and greet with the llamas.
Handlers: Our handlers work with our animals often and know them intimately. There will be one per animal.
Leave No Trace: Llamas are extremely clean animals and like to use a communal latrine. If they are not standing over their 'spot', they will not use the restroom.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is “operational time?”
Operational time is when the llamas and handlers begin serving guests. Once they begin, their operational time starts and they will be there for their allotted hour. They will take a quick break at 30 minutes to use their restroom which will not be included in the operational time.
What types of things can the animals serve in their baskets?
Our llamas can serve any beverages (or party favors, snacks that are individually wrapped, or programs, etc.) you provide.*** We do not supply the beverages for their baskets!
Can we book just one llama?
We only book a pair of llamas together as they are herd animals and feel much more confident with a buddy by their side.
Do they spit?
Yes, llamas do spit, but they spit at each other when competing for dominance. The llamas will not spit at you or your guests.
Do you only book for one hour of operational time?
Yes. The llamas are an incredible attraction and people really enjoy them, but after an hour guests are ready to move on to the next thing in the program. We also keep that timeline for our animals as we find they are most engaged during this timeframe.
Considerations
Payment Policy
Once you have contacted us, we will send you a contract via “Digisign”. We cannot reserve dates until we receive your full payment amount and the signed agreement. There is a $500 non-refundable deposit included in the payment amount.
Payments can be made via Venmo, PayPal, Credit Card, Cash or Check.
Refund Policy
Your payment, minus the $500 deposit portion, can be refunded up to 4 days prior to the event.
Please note that if the event is cancelled by the client less than 4 days prior to the day of the event, the full balance is non-refundable.

Owner’s Safety Policy
If there is dangerous weather, an Act of God, or other events that could put our handlers or animals at risk, we will cancel the service and provide you with a full refund. This type of cancellation is at the full discretion of Maluhia Llamas. If a situation requires us to cancel mid-event, we will prorate the time we were there and send you a refunded amount for the time we missed.
